I have a passion for great design and I am driven to create products that bring memorable and impactful experiences to people's lives. For 6 years I was working at Hasbro, Inc as a Project Engineer where I was able to develop hundreds of toys under multiple brand portfolios. However, I decided to leave this position to pursue my other career interests such as Makerspace Operations and Instruction, Product Design, User Experience Design, and anything that has to do with creating great products and services based on consumer insights.
I thrive on expressing my creativity through glassblowing and photography. I am a maker with 10+ years of fabrication experience in many fields such as glassblowing, woodworking, and prototyping. Staying active is important to me -- during the week you can find me outside biking or inside the ice rink playing goalie. I love to travel and immerse myself in other cultures. And I'm always looking for new and exciting creative opportunities!
DESIGN AND ENGINEERING
I graduated from MIT in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Since then I have taken some continuing education courses through RISD, MassArt (industrial design), and Solidworks training at CADD Edge. I am currently working on obtaining Solidworks Professional Certification.

GLASSBLOWING
Since 2005 I have been blowing glass at the Pittsburgh Glass Center, MIT Glass Lab, NOCA Glass School, and Pilchuck Glass School. MIT has an annual lab fundraiser known as the Great Glass Pumpkin Patch, where we create and sell around 2,000 glass pumpkins. I have also taught weekly classes for beginner students at the MIT Glass Lab.
