My career interests include Graphic and Product Design, User Experience Design, Makerspace Operations and Instruction, and anything that has to do with creating great products and services based on consumer insights. I have extensive product development experience working in cross functional teams leading the engineering of over 500 skus while at Hasbro. I was a leader of employee engagement efforts and was recognized by senior management for developing innovative concepts for new toys based on consumer insights. I am a maker with 10+ years of fabrication experience in many fields such as glassblowing, woodworking, and prototyping. I have experience mentoring and teaching college students through working at MIT as a Maker Technical Specialist and working with engineering co-op students at Hasbro.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
In Spring 2021, I graduated with my Certificate in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. I was able to hone my typography skills and dive deep into the design process for a variety of projects including system and identity design. My portfolio from the program is linked in the sidebar at Behance and also as a PDF.
DESIGN AND ENGINEERING
I graduated from MIT in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Since then I have taken some continuing education courses through RISD, MassArt (industrial design), and Solidworks training at CADD Edge.
